Campbell & Company Appraisals Inc. is a full-service commercial and agricultural real estate appraisal firm located in the Niagara / Hamilton area. Our mission is to provide professional services that best support our clients and the intended users of our reports in making well-informed decisions regarding real property.
We provide real estate appraisal services regarding a wide variety of urban investment and rural / agricultural property types throughout Niagara Region, Hamilton and Haldimand County.
We also focus on the provision of real property expert valuation and consulting services for litigation, mediation and dispute resolution purposes, particularly with regard to agricultural and rural property types, across southern Ontario. Lisa Campbell, ARA, AACI, P.App
Principal
Lisa Campbell has over 25 years of experience in real estate valuation. Her experience encompasses valuations of a wide array of agricultural and commercial/industrial/investment properties in numerous markets across southern Ontario. Ms. Campbell spent the first 18 years of her career as a commercial/agricultural real estate appraiser in the Niagara Region, after which she joined the Expert Services division of an international valuation firm in Toronto, ON to focus on expert support services for disputes involving property issues. In 2015, Ms. Campbell returned to the Niagara Region to become principal of Campbell & Company Appraisals Inc. Her areas of practice are focused on valuation projects, peer reviews and expert witness testimony for dispute resolution purposes, particularly regarding agricultural and rural property types. Ms. Campbell has a BA from Western University. She has been a designated appraiser (AACI, P.App) with the Appraisal Institute of Canada since 2003 and a designated appraiser (ARA) with the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers since 2016.

Ryan Slade, AACI, P.App
Senior Appraiser
Mr. Slade has been a member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada since 2011 and has 10+ years of experience with appraisal and consulting assignments. He attained his Honours Bachelor of Science degree in 2009, followed by his Canadian Residential Appraiser (CRA, P.App) designation in 2015 and his Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (AACI, P.App) designation in 2021. Mr. Slade spent the first several years of his career completing residential assignments, and has since focused on commercial, industrial, institutional, and agricultural assignments. He has experience with a range of intended uses, including financing, litigation, consultation and internal decision making, determination of cash-in-lieu of parkland dedication, assessment appeal, lease renewal and more. His primary area of focus has extended around the Hamilton, Niagara and Haldimand regions, as well as the Greater Toronto Area. Mr. Slade is a member of the Realtor’s Association of Hamilton-Burlington and the Niagara Association of Realtors.

Andrea Edsall, CRA, P.App
Residential Appraiser
Ms. Edsall has over 11 years of experience in the real estate industry, including a number of years as a Realtor after which she established herself as a fee appraiser. Originally from Welland, ON, Ms. Edsall began her career in Durham Region then moved her practice to the Niagara Region to be closer to family. Her experience includes valuations of single family, multi-residential, agricultural, industrial, and commercial properties. Ms. Edsall’s area of focus is the valuation of residential properties across the Niagara Region. Her focus is on matters of estate planning and matrimonial settlement. Ms. Edsall has an Honours BA from Brock University, and is a designated appraiser (CRA, P.App) with the Appraisal Institute of Canada. She is also a member of the Ontario Real Estate Association and a member of the Realtors Association of Hamilton-Burlington.

Danielle Baker
Candidate Appraiser
Danielle Baker has been an AIC Candidate Member since 2020 and currently resides in Burlington, ON. She graduated from the University of Guelph in 2019 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Real Estate and Housing. In 2023, she achieved a Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation (PGCV) at the University of British Columbia. Danielle’s career began with a focus on residential appraisals, serving the Greater Hamilton Area, Niagara Region, and Haldimand County. She handled assignments for financing, taxation, matrimonial, and estate-related matters. Recently, she has redirected her professional path toward commercial, industrial, institutional, and agricultural assignments, driven by her ambition to attain an Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (AACI) designation.
